Dear Express Pediatrics,
    I just wanted to say thank you for your care of my son yesterday. He was acting normal with eating and drinking, then just through the night he developed a bad cough. I made the decision to bring him to Express Pediatrics for I feel that a hospital emergency room is very scary to him and it takes forever to be seen which increases his chances of catching something else. I love that your facility is VERY KID FRIENDLY. It doesn't seem to scare him and there is a lot of murals for him to look at and help distract him. He is only 18 months old and it can be difficult to tell if something is very wrong with him or if it is just a part of growing up. Your staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Miranda was very friendly and made me and my son feel comfortable about what was wrong. It turned out to be croup but with the help of the treatment he received from her and the guidance she gave, I already see an improvement with just one day. Your facility is truly a life blessing and you are highly recommended in my book. Thanks again for the excellent care of my son and treating him like your own and not just another patient. That means the world to a parent.

Tina T (Dylan's mommy!) 

Hello!  I just wanted to say thank you for always taking such great care of my five year old son, Dylan, when we've come to you! This past visit, a few weeks ago, was for a dog bite (from our Rottweiler) to his nose.  The nurse that cleaned him up was fabulous! She let him help her unwrap supplies, and answered his many questions, which both calmed him, and made him happy! Dr. Cariaso did such an awesome job taping him up (and it was a pretty deep wound) that it's barely noticeable now! I'm sure we'll be seeing you guys sooner than later!

       Conor and a broken elbow    

Sorry it has taken me so long to drop you an email. Both my wife and I would like to thank you and your team for looking after our son Conor who I brought in with a fractured elbow on Tuesday 11 May 7:15pm. After taking care of him and making him comfortable you arranged for him to see a surgeon at Westchester hospital, when we arrived at the hospital later that evening everything had been taken care of by your staff alerting Westchester of our arrival. The doctors and nurses who we saw at the hospital all commented on how efficient your practice had been on relaying relevant information and many said it was the best they had seen. I just wanted to pass on those comments to you and thank you all again for helping Conor in a difficult time for him. He is recovering well and will be in a cast for about 8 weeks with wires keeping the elbow stable.

 Emily and a sore throat

Hello.  I had my daughter Emily there last night (with strep throat and another issue).  I would like you to know that all of you were just wonderful.  You treated both of my daughters like little people and with respect, and that is so important to them and to me.  Your office is so different from other offices I have been to.  My oldest daughter after we had gotten back home said how she wanted your office to be her new doctor's office.  So I would like to thank you for such great service that you provided last night, and for helping me resolve Emily's other problem as well.  –JS

My daughter and I visited your practice for the first time Sunday night. She was feeling very poorly and was very upset. Your staff and yourself were so compassionate. By the time we left she was already feeling much better. I think it is great that you have hours other doctors do not. Giving her tylenol and the first dose of antibiotics is a wonderful thing to do on a Sunday night when there are no local pharmacies open. Our experience was wonderful! Doctors and Nurses of Express Pediatrics,

I am the father of 3 children (who are patients of yours). I'm the eldest of 9 brothers and sisters.  My father is a family practitioner and a former ER Doc - the last Doctor in Rockland County to do house calls with his little black bag.  You obviously became Doctors for the "right reasons"  (like my father) --  you want to help and care for people.  Your service and attention to detail is above board.  The fact that the Doc makes the follow-up call him/herself is sadly "unheard of" these days.  You take the time to make that call and it "Matters".  I'm a Police Officer, soldier and a former Paramedic - my wife Teresa is a NICU nurse and a member of the original STAT flight helicopter team out of WCMC.  Folks always ask us for advice on Emergency care for their kids and we always refer them to you.  We have referred numerous friends and family to your office and I just wanted to express a great "THANK YOU!" for your excellence in patient care and compassion to our community.  Keep up the fantastic work!  God will certainly bless you and your families!   Sincerely, John C., LaGrangeville

Henry was wheezing 

   A huge thank you for setting up shop in Hopewell Junction. It was a dream not to have to spend hours in the ER late at night with my 14 month old son, who came in last week with asthmatic breathing. After one dose of nebulized medicine, he has been fine ever since. Not a wheeze in sight.
